Windsor sits in that Nairobi belt where the city gives way to more land and the golf course becomes a reason to stay the night. It is a different register from Royal Nairobi: more resort, still Kenyan, still altitude. Three Kenyan courses in a journal is not a complete map of the country. It is a start, and starts are allowed to be incomplete.
JW’s personal notes from the round will live here — the funny moment, the people, the 19th hole — without inventing what hasn’t been written yet.
