Delta Light, One Tree, Many Shots

The place

Lone Tree is East County golf with Delta weather. Antioch does not market itself as a golf capital. The course does not need it to. Wide land, a name that sounds like a Western, and the kind of public facility that keeps the game available to people who actually live here.

JW’s personal notes from the round will live here — the funny moment, the people, the 19th hole — without inventing what hasn’t been written yet.
