South Sacramento, Hawk Optional

The place

Wildhawk is Sacramento golf with a little swagger in the branding. South of downtown, it is part of the city's public-access map, the one that also includes Haggin Oaks and Bartley Cavanaugh. A golf journey that includes your own city is a healthier one. You cannot only collect other people's landscapes.

JW’s personal notes from the round will live here — the funny moment, the people, the 19th hole — without inventing what hasn’t been written yet.
